I'm Darren, I was born in Southern California in 1979, and being a child in a military family, I soon moved. I lived all over Cali, then moved to Okinawa, Japan, then Hawaii and finally landed in Panama City, Florida.
After a few years of being completely lost. I was offered a job as shop bitch at Black Cat Tattoo. Soon after I got my first tattoo. After working the floor for a while, Albee asked me if I was interested in a career in tattooing. I nearly crapped myself! It was the greatest opportunity I'd ever been offered. Firstly, it's a career I could continue working in forever, where I could express myself through art and I could still maintain my SUPER COOL image.

Throughout my apprenticeship I worked as hard as I could to commit my life to the art of tattoo. My influences vary greatly. I enjoy Japanese manga and anime, as well as earlier art, such as wood block prints and their early tattoos. Since I began working here I've come to appreciate traditional American tattoo designs immensely.

My biggest influences in the tattoo industry are Albee, as well as the artists that I've been lucky enough to work with in this studio. I also admire the work of Bugs, Filipleu, Cap, Seth Ciferri, all the guys at Black Cat in Atlanta and a lot more really great artists around the world.

I'm 5'11", I enjoy talking on the phone, long walks on the beach, and spending time with my girlfriend and our 4 cats. My turn-offs include rude people, smart-assed people, dumb people and nuclear weapons. My turn-ons are world peace and nipples.
